Thermoforming is used to mold items from sheets of plastics. A sheet is clamped over a mold and heated until it becomes soft. A vacuum pump sucks air out through tiny holes in the mold, drawing the sheet into the mold. Pressure and plug assists are used for intricate forming applications.
IN-LINE THERMOFORMING:
Our In-Line forming equipment forms, die cuts and stacks in one continuous line, thin wall plastic products such as clear plastic packaging, material handling, point of purchase and other high volume industrial components.
SHEET THERMOFORMING:
Sheet forming equipment, for heavier gauge plastics, produces such products as assembly line material handling trays, automotive panels, guards, shields, POP displays and industrial components and housings.
